CHAMOMILE

The unperfumed formula with chamomile moisturizes skin for 24 hours, soothes irritations and visibly reduces redness.

NIVEA is launching a new face care product range with 99 % natural origin ingredients. What makes these products special?

NATURALLY GOOD was developed with a philosophy of using as many ingredients with natural origins as possible. With the new product franchise from NIVEA we are focused on being 100% transparent about all the ingredients.

Have you noticed demand for a product range with natural ingredients?

The past couple of months have shown that consumers are much more interested in our products’ details, and also that they want more natural products. They want to know what is and what isn’t in our formulas, and they want to know the role of each specific ingredient. For our new product range NATURALLY GOOD, we try to give all the details and explain them so consumers understand them. But it’s still the be-ginning of a journey, and we want other products to follow this initiative.

Can you explain why 1% of the formula is non-natural?

The 1% guarantees the formula stability and formula safety, which is extremely important to be 100% skin-safe.

What is the difference between the ingredients of natural origin and those without it?

Those of natural origin are basically sourced from nature and retain more than half of their molecular struc-ture or natural state, after being processed – this includes the water. This definition follows strict internal Beiersdorf standards.

Is NATURALLY GOOD a conscious skincare range?

Yes, NIVEA promotes a future without animal testing worldwide, all of our NATURALLY GOOD face formulas are vegan and the packaging for our face care range is sustainable.
The jars are made from PP and apart from the sealing foil, they are 100% recyclable. The bottles are made out of 97% recycled PET. When manufacturing bottles, we use post consumer recycled plastic, which is made from PET water bottles that are disposed into the plastic recycling stream.

Where are the NATURALLY GOOD products made?

The NATURALLY GOOD products are made in Europe, mainly in Germany and Poland, under strict quali-ty standards.

What is inside the new NATURALLY GOOD product formulas?

For our NATURALLY GOOD products, we chose each ingredient carefully. All the ingredients from natu-ral origin are in line with ISO 16128.

What is in the Anti-Age Day Care formula?

The Day Care formula is 100% pleasant. It contains organic burdock fruit extract, which stimulates the skin’s collagen production, as well as precious jojoba and almond oils.

What is in the Anti-Age Night Care formula?

The Night Care formula is both regenerating and 100% pleasant. It contains organic argan oil and shea but-ter, as well as organic burdock fruit extract, which stimulates the skin’s own collagen production.

What is in the Micellar Wash and Micellar Water formulas?

Both the Micellar Wash and Micellar Water formulas are enriched with organic aloe vera. They also con-tain highly effective, natural surfactants that leave the skin perfectly clean. The formulas are overall very caring, and provide the skin with the right level of moisturisation.
